Bike and Motorcycle gear gone to good homes.

It felt like Christmas with presents going everywhere. I went to the Argentina Customs office and there was no “official” way to leave the bike here. I’d have to take it out of the country to do it legally. The officer, Allixandro , said that I couldn’t sell it, but that I could give it away.

So I gave it to a person who collects autos from people who leave them here. He’ll fix up the KLR eventually and use it in the mountains of Tierra del Fuego. I’m glad that I found a good resting home for my motorcycle. I couldn’t think of a better place for it to spend the rest of its days, enjoying the mountains.

I took the luggage off the bike to give to someone else. I met a motorcyclist and ended up giving her the luggage, tools and misc. motorcycle stuff. It felt strange to be giving away all this stuff.

I wish all the things a happy life hereafter.

I’m still trying to figure out how to get home for the best price.
